A drunk youth was beaten by locals after he molested a woman near Khutbi Masjid in Professor Colony.
The incident occured in front of a showroom located near Khutbi Masjid in Professor Colony. The victim woman was standing near her car. Then a youth passed by on a bike and made obscene comments to the woman. By the time the woman raised an alarm, the accused ran away.
After this, the accused left the place. After some time, he returned again, and again started making obscene comments. However, this time, before he could run away, the woman caught him. First, the woman beat up the youth. Then people slapped him hard.
After this, other people also thrashed him up. The accused bike rider has identified himself as Deepak resident Aahat Rustam Khan Shyamala Hills.
Meanwhile, somehow the youth managed to escape from the spot with the bike, the police said that no complaint regarding the case has been received at the police station yet.
