Dr BL Soni, Assistant Professor in the Department of Trauma and Emergency Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal, was honored with the First Prize in the Oral Presentation category at the 64th Annual Conference of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMSCON 2024).
This conference was held from November 21 to 24, 2024, at AIIMS Jodhpur and witnessed the participation of distinguished physicians and researchers from across the country. Commending Dr Soni's achievement, Prof. Singh remarked, "Dr. Soni's innovation has the potential to revolutionize organ donation by maintaining the dignity of donors while encouraging broader acceptance and saving lives. AIIMS Bhopal is committed to developing solutions that bridge the gap between science and humanity."
Dr Soni presented on the topic, "Innovative Use of 3D Printed Bone Analogues for Post-Bone Retrieval Reconstruction as Natural Appurtenance in Deceased Donors," where he showcased a unique technology addressing complex challenges in organ donation.
