The issue of paper leak in the JSSC-CGL examination conducted by Jharkhand State Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is gaining momentum. The candidates are not satisfied with the SIT investigation into the case and are demanding a CBI investigation. In support of their demands, the candidates have announced a statewide digital movement.
Workers of Jharkhand State Student Union (JSSU) told that on March 1, a digital movement will be launched on Twitter (X) in the CGL paper leak case.
It is noteworthy that the candidates are going to put forward many demands before the Government during the movement. They want a CBI investigation into the matter. Next time the examination should be taken through online medium. Instead of a single examination, there should be provision for two stages that is prelims and mains. The responsibility of conducting the examination should be handed over to an agency which has an impeccable past. The candidates also demand that the students against whom cases have been registered during the agitation in front of the Commission office in Namkum on January 31, should be withdrawn.
JSSC had organized the Common Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination (JSSC CGL) 2023 on January 28. The issue of paper leak came to light just hours after the exam. The candidates staged a statewide protest. They protested in front of the Commission office on January 31. On the same day, the Commission canceled the examination and the second phase examination proposed for February 4 was also postponed. The commission said that the new date of examination will be announced soon on the website.
Candidates were waiting for Jharkhand CGL-2023 exam for a long time. This exam has been postponed many times before. After postponing it 5 times, the Commission finally announced to conduct the examination on 28 January and 4 February. The examination was conducted on January 28 in the examination centers in all the districts of Jharkhand but the candidates claimed that the answers to the questions had started going viral on other social media platforms including WhatsApp and Telegram several hours earlier. He demanded cancellation of the exam.
The JSSC CGL examination has not been conducted in Jharkhand for the last 10 years. After a long wait, the examination was held in January but the paper was leaked. Even before this, the examination could not be conducted due to various reasons. Keeping everything in view, the candidates have announced that they will start a digital movement on March 1 from 10 am. He says that the new date of the examination should be announced soon and this time the responsibility of conducting the examination should be handed over to an agency which has a clean image. Get the examination conducted in online mode. The examination should be taken in 2 phases. The first phase should be taken in Prelims and the second in Mains.
