As per the directions of JHALSA, an awareness program was organized on the occasion of World AIDS Day in Mudma village of Mandar block under the guidance of Judicial Commissioner-cum-Chairman, DALSA. PLV Suman Thakur, Poonam Devi and others were present in this awareness program.
On the occasion of World AIDS Day, PLV Suman Thakur working in District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi said that AIDS is a deadly disease and many beneficial schemes are being run by the government to prevent AIDS. She said that AIDS does not spread by sitting with or touching someone. Treat AIDS patients with respect and do not misbehave with them.
PLV Nunam Devi of DALSAA said that World AIDS Day is celebrated every year on December 1 to make people aware about HIV and AIDS. Its purpose is to make people aware about this dreaded disease so that people can be saved from the infection of this disease, she said.
It should also be known that in RIMS Ranchi also, from time to time, awareness programs are organized on the occasion of AIDS Day by the PLV of DALSA and people are made aware.
The main objective of the District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi is to make as many people as possible aware and save them from AIDS.
In the end, PLV of DALSA Suman Thakur and Poonam Devi also distributed pamphlets and leaflets related to AIDS among the villagers.
