Giving a new dimension to the cordial relations between the armed forces and the public, CRPF 158 Battalion in the highly Naxal affected areas of Lohardaga district, Pesharar and Chainpur, is implementing the Civic Action Program Year 2023 as per the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and the Directorate General of CRPF and Jharkhand Sector, CRPF. 24 were organized. On this occasion, Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Second Commanding Officer, Roshan Kumar, Assistant Commandant and Ashiq Ali, Assistant Commandant, 158 Battalion, CRPF provided free fertilizer, tin sheet, solar lantern, mosquito net, blanket, plastic container to the villagers as per their need. school bags and sports equipment were distributed.
Apart from this, a medical camp was also organized by Dr. Ranjit Kumar, Chief Medical Officer, in which he distributed free medicines and also checked the health of the villagers. Due to which all the villagers present there appreciated this program. -He greatly appreciated and requested to organize such a program in future also. This program was conducted under the leadership and direction of CRPA 158 Battalion Commandant Rahul Kumar.
During this, eminent citizens of Peshawar and Chainpur, local police and civil administration officials, villagers and people from the electronic and print media world were present. On the occasion, CRPF 158 Battalion Commandant Rahul Kumar said that through the Civic Action Programme, we not only provide basic necessities to the needy villagers, but by screening short films on inspirational topics, we also educate the people of the area, especially the youth and students. They also inspire patriotism. Civic Action Program is a good medium to establish mutual trust between the people of the area and the security forces, to awaken the feeling of security in the minds of the villagers by making them aware of the role of the security forces.
