The Congress in Chhattisgarh on Saturday held a protest at all district headquarters over the Income Tax notices issued to the party to pay Rs 1,823.08 crore.
State Congress chief Deepak Baij and several leaders and workers participated in the protest as part of a nationwide protests.
Baij said the Modi government wants to cripple the Congress in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls by seizing the bank accounts of the grand old party.
