Congress' poll campaign to start on Gandhi Ji's birth anniversary

Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh said in a press conference on Sunday that the Congress' election campaign will formally start in the entire state on the occasion of Gandhi's 155th birth anniversary.

Kamlesh said that 25 "Samvad Aapke Saath" programs were organized in 24 districts in a month, which have concluded, during which things came to the fore regarding the completeness of the organization in all the districts. "Meetings of committees are going on regarding the election, in this series, a large meeting of delegates, block presidents, district presidents, MLAs, MPs, divisional presidents and other leaders from all over Jharkhand has been called on September 30, in which state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, Saptgiri Shankar Ulka Siribela Prasad, former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel will be present," he added.

JPCC President said that on the same day, senior leaders will also meet the people of the Manifesto Committee. The birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the pioneer of truth, non-violence and peace, is celebrated as the day of non-violence all over the world. On the occasion of starting the election campaign on his birth anniversary, various movements led by Gandhiji during the freedom movement will be remembered and discussed in detail. A huge program of Tana Bhagats who contributed to the freedom movement of the country will be held in front of the statue of Soma Tana Bhagat in Bijupada," he added.

On the occasion former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahay said that the campaign will start from October 2. "Four teams of state leaders have been formed, which will campaign in the first phase in those areas where Congress candidates were there in the last assembly elections and after seat sharing, the campaign will be run for the alliance candidates in the second phase. At the assembly level, the Samvad Yatra will go to every village. From October 15, district level leaders will run a campaign in the Panchayat, through which the achievements of the government have to be conveyed to the people," he added.

Sahay further said that to go to the elections, we have the work done by the government as capital, there is a glimpse of future development in our policies. "Today, the BJP leaders who are searching for Bangladeshis in Jharkhand were sleeping during the 18 years of rule, they see such issues only at the time of elections. An FIR has been registered against Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on the charge of scam of thousands of crores, she should resign on moral grounds," he added.

Addressing the media persons on the occasion, Bandhu Tirkey said that to prepare the manifesto, the opinion of the people will be taken by organizing Chaupals in the entire state. "It will be arranged that there should be a system of social audit of the manifesto every 6 months. The points of the manifesto will be prepared by reviewing all the policy, economic, social aspects. The committee will hold a Chaupal in Jamshedpur on October 1," he added.

"Senior leaders have been appointed to hold Chaupals in all districts who will discuss local issues, state level issues, land issues or other discrepancies district wise and submit a report to the state office by October 4, which will be compiled and sent to the national leadership for review and will be announced as soon as permission is received from there. After the manifesto is ready, we will meet the Chief Minister and discuss our and his manifesto and put it into practice," said Tirkey.

Former state Congress president Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu said that in the conference organized on September 30, a booklet of the work done by the government and the work done by the Congress will be prepared and distributed among the people from all over the state so that it becomes easier for them to go among the public with the achievements of the government and the achievements of the government can be widely publicized among the public.
