CMD, CMPDI, Manoj Kumar flagged off six fully insulated food distribution vehicles which were provided to Akshaya Patra Foundation, Ranchi by CMPDI under CSR project “Improving nutritional level of children by providing six number of food distribution vehicles to provide mid-day meal to Govt. school students of Hazaribagh, Jharkhand”.
Shankar Nagachari, Director (Tech./CRD); Ajay Kumar, Director (Tech./P&D); Satish Jha, Director (Tech./ES); Achyut Ghatak, Director (Tech./RD&T); Sumeet Kumar Sinha, C.V.O, CMPDI; GM/HoDs, CSR team of CMPDI (HQ) and representatives from Akshaya Patra were also present.
The major objective is to ensure transportation of mid-day meals to Govt schools of Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand. Approximately one lakh school going children from Hazaribag and adjoining areas would be benefitted from this project. These vehicles will help in transportation for on time delivery and increase the reach of the Akshaya Patra Foundation to deliver the mid-day meals thereby, helping in enhancing the nutritional status and attendance of the children in Govt schools.
CMPDI has signed an MoA with Akshaya Patra Foundation, Ranchi on 04.03.2024 at CMPDI (HQ), Ranchi for the project. The MoA was exchanged between R.K. Mahapatro, GM(HRD/CSR), CMPDI and Vyompada Das, Regional Director, Akshaya Patra Foundation.
