Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the 'Madhya Pradesh Utsav' in New Delhi on Friday. Madhya Pradesh Utsav is being celebrated at Madhya Pradesh Bhavan in Chanakyapuri to introduce the world to the cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh.
Various cultural programmes will take place daily from 6 p.m. as part of the festival's cultural evenings. On the first day, August 30th, Kalapini Komkali from Dewas will perform classical singing.
The second day, August 31, will feature a musical presentation by Odissi dancer Bindu Juneja from Bhopal, followed by the Maihar Instrumental Ensemble on September 1st. On September 2nd, Bagheli folk singer Shashi Kumar Pandey from Rewa and Nimari folk singer Sushri Alochana Mangrole from Khandwa will deliver musical performances.
Additionally, an exhibition will be held during the festival, showcasing and selling handloom and handicraft products, items under the 'One District- One Product' initiative, GI-tagged products, and Vindhya herbal products.
