CM pays emotional tribute to late Ankita Mahato in Jamshedpur

In a poignant display of empathy and solidarity, Chief Minister  Hemant Soren, accompanied by his wife MLA  Kalpana Soren, visited the residence of former MP late Sunil Mahato and former MP  Suman Mahato in Sonari, Jamshedpur, to pay his respects to their late daughter, Ankita Mahato.

 

The Chief Minister, deeply moved by the tragic loss, paid a floral tribute to a photograph of Ankita Mahato, expressing his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. With folded hands and a bowed head,  Hemant Soren offered prayers for the peace of Ankita's departed soul and for strength to be granted to her grieving family to endure this immense loss.

 

Upon arriving at the Mahato residence, Chief Minister Soren and his wife, MLA Kalpana Soren, met with  Suman Mahato and other family members. During their visit, they extended their deep condolences and spent time consoling the family, emphasizing the government's support and their personal commitment to standing by them during this difficult time.

 

In a brief interaction with the media, Chief Minister Soren expressed his sorrow and extended his sympathies, saying, "Ankita Mahato's untimely passing is a profound loss not only to her family but to all of us. I stand with the Mahato family in their grief and pray for the strength they need to cope with this tragedy."

 

Several prominent figures from the state's political arena also joined the Chief Minister in paying their respects. Minister Deepak Birua, Minister Baby Devi, Minister Deepika Pandey Singh, MP Joba Manjhi, MLA Ramdas Soren, MLA Sukhram Oraon, MLA Savita Mahato, MLA Sanjeev Sardar, MLA Sameer Mohanty, MLA Mangal Kalindi, and others were present to offer their condolences and participate in the tribute ceremony.

 

Each of them offered flowers at Ankita Mahato's photograph, symbolizing their shared grief and solidarity with the Mahato family. The atmosphere was heavy with emotion as leaders from various political parties set aside their differences to mourn the loss of a young life taken too soon.

 

Ankita Mahato, the daughter of  Suman Mahato and late Sunil Mahato, was remembered by all as a bright and promising young woman whose life was tragically cut short. Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew her, and her memory continues to inspire her family and friends to carry forward her legacy with love and determination.

 

The Mahato family, visibly touched by the overwhelming support, thanked the Chief Minister and other leaders for their visit and their heartfelt words of comfort. "This is a very difficult time for our family, and we are grateful for the support and prayers from everyone," said  Suman Mahato. "Ankita was a beloved daughter, and her memory will always remain in our hearts."
