CCL inks MoU for Super Specialty Hospital in Ranchi

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has taken a historic step towards providing better health facilities to the people of Jharkhand. A tripartite agreement was signed between CCL, Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidya Pratishthan (BAVP) and Dhanvantari Arogya Seva Sansthan (DASS) for setting up a 200-bed Super Specialty (Cardiology, Pulmonology and Neurology) Hospital at Kanke, Ranchi.

The agreement was signed at a function organized at CCL Headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi. This important agreement was signed in the august presence of Nilendu Kumar Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCL.

The hospital will have specialist services in cardiology, pulmonology and neurology, Medical facilities accessible to the public at affordable rates and  Healthcare centres equipped with the latest technology and equipment.

This initiative is a result of the leadership of Nilendu Kumar Singh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), CCL. Under the guidance of Singh, CCL has not only achieved excellence in the coal mining sector but has also left its indelible mark in the overall development and welfare of the society. Speaking on the occasion, Singh said, “CCL's objective is not just coal production, but raising the standard of living of the people is also our priority. This super specialty hospital will prove to be a milestone in this direction.”

He further said that this project will provide accessible and affordable healthcare services to every section of Jharkhand. Singh expressed his gratitude to the employees and stakeholders of CCL and described it as a result of collective effort and dedication.

CCL Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra, senior representatives of BAVP and DASS, and doctors of the team of Sevankur Bharat were present on the occasion. A.C. Mohanta, Dr. Ratnesh Jain, R.R. Singh, P.K. Sahu and Amit Prakash and others were present on the occasion.

With the cooperation of Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidya Pratishthan (BAVP) and Dhanvantari Arogya Seva Sansthan (DASS), this hospital will set a new example in the health care sector. BAVP, a non-profit organization based in Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, is renowned for its social and medical service initiatives.
