A third year BTech Computers student of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at hostel number 5 on Sunday.
After the student was found dead, police were informed and the body was sent for postmortem. In the initial investigation police have not found suicide note from the spot.
The exact cause of death could not be revealed. In the initial investigation, the police suspect that he committed suicide due to loneliness and stress of studies. The police have registered a case and started an investigation in the matter.
According to Kamla Nagar Police, Aditya Sohane (22) was a resident of Datia. He was studying third year BTech in MANIT. The youth lived in MANIT's hostel number 5. He committed suicide by hanging himself in this room.
His friends told the police that they last saw him at 12.30 am on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, he did not come to the mess for breakfast. At around 12:30 pm, his friends came to check on him in the room. After spotting his body hanging from the noose, the police were informed about the matter.
