Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) recently organized a "Safety Introspection Workshop" focused on transforming the safety culture within the organization. The workshop, presided over by Mr. Rajan Prasad, Executive Director (HR & Additional Charge of Works), saw participation from 17 Chief General Managers of BSL.
The workshop commenced with a welcome address by B.K. Sartape, Chief General Manager (Safety & Fire Services), who provided a detailed overview of the program. Special guests and faculty for the workshop included M Shashi Vashisth, In-charge Executive Director (SSO), and Sanjay Dhar, In-charge Executive Director (MTI).
In his address, ED Rajan Prasad emphasized the importance of the workshop and urged all participants to fully engage and benefit from the sessions to ensure the success of the safety culture transformation initiative at BSL.
During the two-day workshop, Anand Rautela, General Manager (Safety & Fire Services), presented various safety activity parameters through detailed presentations.
In the closing session, Director In-charge Birendra Kumar Tiwari instructed the implementation of key performance indicators discussed during the workshop. He also directed all Chief General Managers to promptly implement safety circles in their respective departments.
