With the construction of the much-awaited multipurpose town hall in Bokaro, local MLA Biranchi Narayan expressed his gratitude to the former Urban Development Secretary, Vinay Choubey, and Bokaro Deputy Commissioner for their continuous support and coordination. Narayan highlighted that their assistance has been instrumental in fulfilling this long-standing demand of the people of Bokaro.
Legislator Narayan further noted that the demand for a town hall had been raised since Bokaro's establishment as a district. He stated that despite numerous challenges, efforts were continuously made over the years, with consistent support from the district administration, ensuring the project was completed on time. He reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Bokaro, stating that he remains vigilant and dedicated to the progress of the region.
The construction of the town hall has been carried out by Jharkhand Urban Development Corporation (JUDCO). The facility includes a multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 1,000 people, an open-space multipurpose activity center with a similar capacity, a VIP meeting lounge for 50 people, and a parking facility. Notably the total cost for the town hall project amounts to 24,46,95,382.14.
