BJP state spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo launched an attack on former Chief Minister Hemant Soren saying that the former CM is trying to misuse the law and court by making false statements. Pratul also showed the documents while addressing a press conference held at the BJP state headquarters.

Shahdeo claimed that when ED had recovered Rs 36 lakh in cash from the wardrobe of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren's room during the raid in his Delhi house, then former Chief Minister Hemant Soren had clearly stated in the FIR number 06/24 registered in SC ST police station on January 31, 2024 that he was getting news from media channels that a large amount of illegal money had been recovered from his house. He had clearly said at that time that the illegal money recovered was not his. This is just a conspiracy by the ED officials to humiliate him socially. On the application of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren on this issue, a fake SC-ST Act was issued. A case was also registered.

But surprisingly, in the case WP(Cr) No. 68/2024 going on in the High Court, Hemant Soren has made a U-turn in point number 108 of his application and said that his mother and father are old people. He requires constant medical treatment in Delhi, so he kept the cash to deal with any medical emergency. Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren did not stop there. He even said that the cash recovered from his bungalow was donated by him from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.

Pratul said that there is a huge difference between the facts mentioned in the application given in the SC/ST case and the application given in the High Court. Firstly, former Chief Minister Hemant Soren shies away from this cash. Later it is said that he received a donation from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Pratul said that by doing this he has been exposed. Pratul said that now ED and Income Tax should also investigate on this subject that on which day did Jharkhand Mukti Morcha give such a huge amount to Hemant Soren? Pratul said.

Apparently, Hemant Soren is continuously retracting his stand in his defense and going back on the statements he had given. Now it has become clear that his statement given in the SC/ST case was baseless because he has given the exact opposite statement in the High Court. Pratul said that after this incident, former Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have been completely exposed. Has occurred.
