BJP promises Rs 2100/month for women, sops for tribal youths

Saturday, 28 September 2024 | PNS | Ranchi

In a bid to woo women voters in the upcoming Assembly elections, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) announced the Laado Laxmi Yojana under which BJP pledges to offer Rs 2,100 monthly to all women. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is on a two-day visit to Jharkhand announced this. Chouhan said our manifesto for Jharkhand is about to come. It is certain that in Haryana, just like we distributed the manifesto, we will put Rs 2100 in the account of sisters, in Jammu and Kashmir we said that we will put money, similarly in Jharkhand also we will put the same amount in the account of sisters which we have announced in Haryana.

Chouhan is on a two-day visit to Jharkhand stayed in the tribal areas of Netarhat till late last night. During this time, he interacted with the tribal society on various topics. Union Minister Shivraj met the people of Baiga tribe as well as Korba primitive tribe, Birhor primitive tribe, Kisan tribe and Cheek Baraik tribal society. During this, Shivraj Singh Chouhan was traditionally welcomed by the tribal society in Netarhat. During this, the Union Minister was seen painted in tribal colors, played drums and also danced. Shivraj also danced to the tune of traditional songs of the tribal society.

After this, he had traditional food of Jharkhand in Jamatoli, Netarhat. He tasted Gondli rice, corn ghatta, Bhapal salad, Futkal chutney, bamboo kareel bhujia, bar bodi dal. At the same time, the farmers of Netarhat presented traditional dances and songs performed at the time of sowing of crops and at the time of worship. Shivraj Singh also stayed overnight in Netarhat.

Chouhan said that as a BJP worker and a Union Minister, I have come among the people of the tribal society. Even as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, I have stayed in villages among tribal brothers and sisters many times. “Once again I have got the good fortune that I was able to come among my tribal brothers and sisters. He said that they are our family, and serving them is worship of God for me. Further said that the culture and color of the tribal society is amazing,” he said.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan surrounded the JMM government on Jharkhand's Mainiya Samman Yojana. He said that this is our project, Hemant Soren is copying the Ladli Behna Yojana before the elections. On Hemant Soren's breach of promise, he said that 5 years ago in the manifesto, he had promised to give 2000 rupees for stove expenses. He did not give stove expenses for 4 years and 10 months, now the elections are near, so I thought that it would not be spent from the pocket, so I started putting one thousand rupees each from the treasury. First Hemant Soren should give an account that there are 60 months in 5 years and if 2000 rupees were given in 60 months, then 1 lakh 20 thousand rupees would have been in the account of sisters, they ate 1 lakh 18 thousand and now they are putting 1 thousand rupees in pieces.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that Hemant Soren's government had promised to give 5 lakh jobs but did not give a single penny. Papers were cancelled 17 times due to paper leak. JMM has become Paper Leak Morcha, not Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. In Jharkhand, brokers are playing with the dreams of youth. As soon as the BJP government is formed in Jharkhand, 2 lakh 87 thousand 400 posts will be filled in the first cabinet.

When BJP was in power here, work was done but now JMM and Congress have destroyed Jharkhand. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created district funds so that proper development can be done here with that money but its use is also not visible anywhere. People of the ruling party, people of the alliance are openly looting Jharkhand and the public is badly troubled. To change the fate and picture of Jharkhand, change of power is necessary here. Parivartan Yatra will bring change, change is certain, BJP government will come here now.
