Stressed over financial crisis an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Police of who used to live at 25th Battalion SAF premises at Bhadbhada committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling on Friday.
Police have found a suicide note from the spot, in which he has mentioned mental stress due to debt. In the case, the police have started investigation by registering a case, after the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family on Saturday.
According to the information received from Kamla Nagar Police, 55-year-old Anil Nagerao lived in the 25th Battalion SAF premises located in Bhadbhada. He was an ASI in MP Pool and currently posted as ASI in the State Garage. He left home on Friday afternoon, after a while his son went to the garage built in the house to take the car to go out and he found the garage door was open and when he checked he found his father hanging.
Anil was taken to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Meanwhile, a 52-year-old head constable of SAF has been found under mysterious circumstances on the terrace of barracks at Satpuda Bhawan.
