Since cyber crime is increasing day by day. At present, the general public has to go to the cyber branch and apply for complaints of cyber fraud. There was only one cyber police station in the city and it is quite far from most of the police stations, due to which it took a lot of time and trouble for the victims to go to the cyber police station for complaint.
Also, due to the tremendous increase in cyber crimes in the last few years, complaints are getting pending in the cyber branch. Keeping all these points in mind and keeping in view the convenience of the general public, from December 01, the applicant / victim will be able to complain about fraud / cheating up to Rs 5 lakh in the concerned police stations.
Due to early complaint, the cyber police will take immediate action and hold the victim's money and the possibility of refund will increase significantly.
