Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday took a jibe at the AAP leaders for ‘singing the same tune everyday’ and alleged that they are desperate for the bail of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

“The AAP leaders, desperate for Kejriwal’s bail, sing the same old tune every day, what Sanjay Singh said on Saturday, Atishi has repeated it on Sunday,” he alleged.

Hitting out at the AAP leaders, Sachdeva said “Arvind Kejriwal and his fellow leaders are well aware that amid the increasing allegations of corruption, the AAP is losing its political relevance, in such a situation, if Arvind Kejriwal stays in jail for more days, his party can also disintegrate.”

Sachdeva claimed that the statements by AAP leaders are trying to influence the opinion of the public and the court. He stated, “All the “AAP” leaders are trying to influence not only the public but also the courts by publishing their statements in newspapers everyday but now they will not succeed in their campaign of spreading confusion and ruling.”

He alleged that the statements by the AAP leaders are part of ‘ill health drama campaign’. “People of Delhi are witness that Kejriwal, who was out on bail before the elections, campaigned every day and no one saw him going to the hospital even for a single day but when the day of going to jail came, he again started pretending to be ill,” the state BJP chief stated.

Further, he added, “Kejriwal’s current ill health drama campaign is also only an attempt to get bail by misleading the CBI court.”
