The Ld Special Judge for CBI cases, Indore has on Friday sentenced accused Rajeev Kumar Sinha, then Assistant, Weaver's Service Centre, Indore to four years’ Rigorous imprisonment (RI) in a case of bribery.
A case was registered on the basis of a complaint dated May 04, 2017 of a Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Weaver's Service Centre, Indore against Rajeev Kumar Sinha, Assistant, Weaver's Service Centre, Indore alleging therein that Rajeev Kuman Sinha had demanded an illegal gratification of Rs 10,000. Later, accused Rajeev Kumar Sinha, Assistant agreed to accept Rs 3,000 as bribe money from complainant for confirmation of his services.
CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe amount of Rs 3,000 from the complainant.
