Police arrested three vicious criminals and recovered a country-made pistol, a crude gun and a live cartridge from them. They were planning a robbery. Among the arrested accused, the arrested accused include Saddam Hussain, 29 year old son of Masroof Ansari, resident of Nawadih under Kisko police station area, Sakil Ansari, 22 year old son of Suleman Ansari, resident of Nari and Salman Ansari, 20 year old son of Mobin Ansari, resident of Nari. Superintendent of Police Haris Bin Zaman presented the arrested accused before the press on Tuesday.
He said that he had received secret information that three criminal persons were planning to carry out some incident. On the above information, a raid team was formed under the leadership of KISCO SDPO Sameer Kumar Savaiya. The team included Inspector Chandrashekhar Azad, police station incharge Harshvardhan Singh, SI Mahendra Prasad Yadav, SI Devendra Hansda and security force personnel and technical team. The raiding team took prompt action and succeeded in arresting the three criminals.
The SP said that the arrested people told in their confessional statement that they were planning a robbery in the ruins inside the colony located at Dhurva turn of Nari Navadih of Kisko police station area under Lohardaga district. He said that during the search, a country-made pistol and a live cartridge were recovered from the waist of one of the three arrested by the police, while a crude gun was also recovered from the incident site. SP said that in this context, Kisko police station case number 19/2024, dated 22.07.2024, a case under section 310(4) 310(5) 310(6) BNS and 25(1-B)A/26/35 Arms Act registered.
