Bhopal railways have provided a 10 minutes 'drop and go' facility and integrated parking on Platform-1 of Bhopal Railway Station, this facility will provide great relief to the passengers coming from Platform-1 and their families.

Railways has implemented a one-way traffic system outside the new building. Due to which vehicles will come from one side and go from the other side.

This step has been taken with the aim of controlling the crowd of vehicles in the station campus and making better traffic arrangements.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria said, this facility has been started for the passengers with immediate effect. Which also includes a 10 minutes drop and go facility. The new parking built towards Platform-1 has a parking capacity of about 800 two-wheelers and 200 four-wheelers. Currently, there has been no increase in the parking fee. It has been kept running at the old rates, 40000 to 50000 passengers travel on this entry every day.

With the introduction of this facility, passengers will get relief from crowds of auto rickshaws and taxis. This arrangement has been made in view of the complaints made by the passengers regarding crowds of auto rickshaw and taxis. Now passengers will not have to wait for an auto rickshaw or taxi outside the station.

Earlier integrated parking had been started towards platform-6 and now with the introduction of this facility towards platform-1, Bhopal and Rani Kamlapati stations have become completely equipped with integrated parking facilities.
