Palamu police have caught and jailed a 65 year old zonal commander of Maoist Sitaram Rajwar alias Raman who has 51 cases against him spanning over two states Jharkhand and Bihar comprising 3 districts Palamu in Jharkhand and Aurangabad and Gaya districts in Bihar said the SP Reeshma Ramesan at the press briefing today.
Sitaram Rajwar alias Raman carried a reward for 10L in Jharkhand while Bihar government had declared a reward for 3L on him.
Reeshma Ramesan said the most wanted Maoist sought by Jharkhand and Bihar police had all the luck of him before his arrest here at Jhapiya hillock near Jhargara village under the Hussainabad police station on Thursday as in his 30 plus year of his extremism he went to the jail in Bihar and too only for once.
