Three suspicious young men had tried to influence the police complaint lodged in the night of August 8 by the family members of victim lady doctor of AR Kar Medical College and Hospital who was raped and murdered in the morning of August 9.
A close friend of the victim who too is a doctor said that three youth had been trying to take the copy of the FIR lodged in Tala Police Station, adding "the three-some stayed back inside the police station till the time the family of Abhaya the victim left."
They were trying to read its content when the other junior doctors protested forcing them to give up, the friend of the victim said.
Besides, Dr S Hasan a junior doctor reportedly close to Sandip Ghosh the arrested former Principal of RGKMCH also said that the CCTV footage based on which the present prime accused was arrested only provided the footage of the front side of the chest medicine department. "There is a second entry and exit route through the back area where there is hostel where there is no CCTV," he said refusing to delve much into the matter.
