New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Chairperson Naresh Kumar on Thursday hoisted the National Flag on the occasion of 78th Independence Day at NDMC Headquarter — Palika Kendra here.
He announced the 11 points target programme for the next one year for the NDMC to become the first Municipality in the Nation to achieve the goal of sustainable development with inclusion of every social sector of the area.
Kumar further outlined the 11 points target which includes Cleanest City, Greenest City, Digitalisation of services through e-mobile, cultural city, world class civic infrastructure, world class education institution, world class health infrastructure, holistic social welfare with the inclusion of senior citizens and divyang, world class sports facility, best employees and sustainable climate resilient city.
He also said for the target of making Viksit Bharat till 2047 everyone should work at their level as a freedom fighter spirit and hope that all will leave no stone unturned in working hard for future as well.
