BJP holding janta darbars every Saturday to connect with masses

Sunday, 22 September 2024 | Staff Reporter | New Delhi

In view of the forthcoming assembly elections in the national capital, Delhi BJP, with a view to enhance its connect with the masses, held janta darbar in its state office on Saturday and will continue do so every Saturday from 12.00 pm to two pm.  This is aimed at trying to solve problems of common people.

Giving details, BJP said Union Minister of state Harsh Malhotra and other Delhi BJP MPs will be present in such meetings.  This exercise was launched on the instructions of state BJP chief  Virendra Sachdeva.

Sachdeva said the Janta Darbar is a part of BJP's working style. Public service and solving the problems of the public is our first priority and you must have seen how our MPs come out on the streets during the rainy season to help, he said.

He said the party has decided that from now on, Union Minister of State Malhotra and one MP will be available and will solve the problems of the public.

Sachdeva said that the MPs will talk to the officials of the concerned department and take appropriate and meaningful steps in that regard. He said this is a big form of service and dedication that the people of Delhi will get to see.

Malhotra said for the last 10 years, the people of Delhi are troubled by the Kejriwal government and their basic needs are also not being met. Slum dwellers are troubled about drinking water and electricity bills, roads are broken and Delhi is full of garbage.

Since June four, BJP MPs always sit in their constituencies and try to solve 100 percent of people's problems, he said.

Malhotra said we will try to solve any problem of Delhi, whether it is related to the corporation or any department.

He emphasized that whether the problem is related to the municipal corporation or any department, efforts will be made to resolve it. BJP office bearers will also assist in this.

Malhotra also said in Delhi, the court had decided on the timing and limits for vendors in Delhi, but unfortunately, the Kejriwal government did not form any committee related to this, and till today, neither their time nor their location has been fixed.
