Naveen Srivastava has been appointed as Director (Operations) of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna CPSE under Ministry of Power, Government of India.
Prior to his joining as Director (Operations), he worked as Executive Director (NR-III) handling challenging and flagship works & delivered results consistently in dynamic business environment.
“He brings a wealth of expertise to the table. He is an accomplished electrical engineer, having graduated in Electrical Engineering (Hons) from the prestigious National Institute of Technology- Durgapur, and has honed his leadership skills through a General Management Programme at the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, and the Harvard Manage Mentor program at Harvard Business School,” said a statement issued by the firm.
With over two decades of experience in operations, Srivastava has consistently driven success across multiple facets, including Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Testing and Commissioning (T&C), and cutting-edge SCADA and communication technologies, it said.
His leadership was instrumental in completing the renowned underground cabling project in Old Kashi (Varanasi), which garnered accolades from the Chief Minister and international dignitaries, it said.
Further, he played a pivotal role towards commissioning of 765kV Pooling Substation at Bilaspur along with adaptation of new Technologies such as Remote Operation of HVDC Rihand-Dadri Link and others, siad the compnay in a statement.
