The 10th edition of ALUCAST® EXPO, India's premier biennial international conference and exhibition on die casting technology, commenced on December 5, 2024, at Yashobhoomi, India International Convention & Expo Center, Dwarka, Delhi. Spanning three days, the event hosted over 200 exhibitors and 300+ brands from nations such as Germany, the USA, Japan, and Spain, drawing more than 8,000 visitors from 20+ countries.
Organized by the Aluminium Casters' Association (ALUCAST)® and NürnbergMesse India, the event highlighted India's emerging leadership in aluminum die casting. Keynote speeches by industry leaders, including Mr. Prasan Firodia, President of ALUCAST, showcased India's advanced manufacturing capabilities, such as its 4,400-ton aluminum die-casting machine.
Ms. Sonia Prashar, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse India, emphasized the sector's growth beyond automotive applications to include aerospace, consumer electronics, and electrical equipment. The conference featured over 2.5 days of technical sessions on innovations like semi-solid casting, AI integration, and workforce reskilling.
