The World Bank delegation inquired about the updated information about the projects implemented in the state by the Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company, an undertaking of the Urban Development and Housing Department.
The delegation also discussed about the physical and financial condition of the projects along with safeguards and reforms. Mr. Raghukeshvan, Dr. Mohan and Riddiman Shah were included in the World Bank delegation.
It is worth mentioning that with the help of World Bank, work is being done on water supply in three cities and sewerage project in six cities of the state. It is noteworthy that the work of World Bank assisted Dharampuri sewerage project has been completed. Dharampuri has also been awarded the Scotch Award for excellent implementation.
The delegation of the World Bank will also meet Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Neeraj Mandloi and Commissioner Bharat Yadav on Tuesday.
