A three-tier security will be in place when the votes polled in the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections are counted on December 3 at all 90 constituencies.
Security arrangements were also beefed up at the Government Engineering College at Sejbahar in Raipur ahead of the vote count.
The counting of the votes polled on November 7 and 17 will take place in all 33 district headquarters.
Chhattisgarh recorded a voter turnout of 78 percent in the first phase of balloting for 20 seats in the Naxalite-affected regions.
The turnout was 75.88 percent in the second and final phase in 70 seats across 22 districts.
Kurud seat witnessed 90 percent voting. Raipur (North) saw 55.59 percent polling.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s Patan constituency witnessed 84.27 percent voting, up from 81.17 five years back. Above 80 percent polling was witnessed in rural and semi-urban areas.
A total of 958 candidates -- 827 men, 130 women and one transgender person -- were in the fray.
