Ranchi SSP Kishor Kaushal today said that the CCR DySP will sit on the premises of the Command Center located in Ranchi Smart City within a month. The entire work force of CCR will work from the Centre. Apart from this, efforts will be made to make maximum dependence of traffic on online services. Along with this, Tetra's tower will also be installed in this building. The SSP gave the information after a meeting organized at Smart City on Wednesday.
He said that now the help of this centre will be taken in crowd management by geo-fencing. In the meeting held on Wednesday, CEO of Ranchi Smart City, Amit Kumar, has urged the Ranchi district administration to take up the role of Smart City in the city's surveillance, traffic management, green corridors, VIP and VVIP movement, urban services and quick solutions to other problems. He said this in a meeting with Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi Rahul Sinha and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishor Kaushal on Wednesday in the War Room of the Command Center located in the Ranchi Smart City office premises.
In the meeting, Kumar urged the DC and SSP to inform the maximum number of school and college students by training district administration and police officers on the services available from here. Through this centre, emergency calling boxes have been installed at 50 locations in the city, from where in case of any emergency, two-way communication can be connected to the command centre. Along with this, Save Your Soul service has also been provided in the City App for quick action on incidents of molestation and abuse, the information about its use and the response given to it through the police should be ensured to the people.
On this occasion, the Ranchi DC said that soon a team of district administration officials will reach here, in which district transport officer, district welfare officer and district superintendent of education will also be there and after taking information about all these equipment, children in college and school will be informed. Training of CB and SOS will be imparted in between. With this, along with girl students and women, every section of the society will be saved from any untoward incident.
After the meeting, the Smart City CEO, DC, SSP, City SP Shubhanshu Jain and Traffic SP Harish Bin Zaman and other officials also saw the live demonstration of the equipment connected to the command center and various other areas of the city. He also interacted with the traffic police personnel posted at the Chowk intersections through ECB.
