World Pharmacist Day was celebrated from September 25th to September 29th at Gyan Jyoti College of Pharmacy, Hazaribag.On this occasion, on Monday, the students of Gyan Jyoti Pharmacy College took out a rally and conducted an awareness campaign among the people of the city about organ donation.The students raised the slogan of organ donation as great donation and also said that by donating organs, people's lives can be saved and people can be given a new life.The college organized a medical camp in the Hazaribag Jheel campus, in which health checkup of hundreds of people was done in which many diseases like BP, sugar, malaria, etc. were checked for free.Seminar was also organized in the college, a large number of students participated in the seminar and discussed the importance of pharmacist. Among the students, Anku Kumari, Suraj Kumar, Kalpana Kumari, and Shivam Kumar etc. participated.Rangoli and chess competitions were organized in the college in which a large number of students participated.
In the Rangoli competition, Piyush group got first place, Anku group got second place, and Anjali group got third place.The World Pharmacist Weekly Program was concluded on Friday. On the occasion of the closing day, the chief guest was the city's well-known dentist Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Dr. Irfan and Director of Gyan Jyoti Pharmacy College, Shambhu Kumar, and Secretary Mr. Vinay Kumar, Principal Neetu Sinha and teachers Ujjwal Kumar, Dr. Anil Kumar, Ranjit Kumar. Dr. Avinash Kumar, Kajal Kumari and Maria, Anita, Aparna Gupta, Gayatri etc. participated and provided important support.Mr. Shambhu Kumar, Director of Gyan Jyoti College of Pharmacy, while addressing the students in the college, said that proper health care plays an important role in building a strong society. A pharmacist performs many important functions in the society.This includes giving the right advice to the patient, treating them properly and ensuring the availability of medicines for them.
