The Shahpura police nabbed a vehicle-lifter and recovered three sports bikes worth Rs 4.5 lakh from his possession on Wednesday.
According to the police, acting on a tip off a youth was detained during vehicle checking and when he was asked details regarding the vehicle he failed and confessed that the two-wheeler was stolen one. The nabbed accused was identified as Nadeem Ali .
In the initial investigation police have recovered two sports bike from his possession which were stolen from different areas of the city.
Accused Nadeem Ali father Nabab Ali is a listed goons of police station Shyamala Hills Bhopal, against whom a total of 1 dozen crimes of robbery, theft and assault are registered in police station Kohefiza, Hanumanganj, Bajaria, TT Nagar and Shahpura.
The friends and aides would be questioned in the investigation which could help in obtaining more details of earlier crimes and involvement in other crimes.
Police said that the deserted places were used to park the stolen bike and which were to be sold later.
During the investigation accused revealed that about 2 months ago Pulsar bike was stolen from Shahpura, a Royal in field hunter was stolen from Mahakali Society Trilanga and about 1 month ago, a Yamaha MT15 bike was stolen.
