A girl student of a government-run school on Monday died after jumping from an under-construction residential building in Raipur city.
The incident took place at the Raipur Development Authority (RDA) building in Boriakala area, Tikrapara Station House Officer Amit Beriya told The Pioneer. Aliya Parveen (17) of the Government Higher Secondary School in Satoshi Nagar jumped from the sixth floor of the residential building and died on the spot.
The reason behind her drastic step is yet to be known, the officer said. No suicide note was recovered.
