The government at your doorstep initiative undertaken by the district administration registered a good response in Garhwa sub division of the district. People from various villages in Chhatarpur Panchayat  were given various schemes benefits and also received or- the-spot applications for various government certificates, during the drive.

A special camp was organised in Chhatarpur headed by SDO Vijay Kumar to reach out to more people. The CO Garhwa  Kumar Mayank Bhushan explained about the government schemes to citizens from about 7 villages. About a hundred people were given government benefits of various schemes. 

Given details about program CO said that 636 peoples were given the benefit of Birsa Awas scheme, 

 Birsa Crop Extension Scheme, 5 get the benefit of Beneficiaries Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, 35 peoples get MGNREGA Job Card etc. Besides this administration also distributed blankets and Ayushman Bharat cards among the peoples.  The administration received about 250 applications for ration cards and for certificates including cast, and income.

About 100 applications were approved for various government-run schemes. Officials said that prior to the drive, a campaign was conducted in the villages wherein residents were appealed to visit the camp. The initiative proved helpful for citizens as the services were made available at the doorstep. The district administration said that similar camps were conducted at every block Panchayat of the district.
