Right use of technology, innovation and management can not only bring about progress in the society and institutions but also can bring positive changes in our thinking. This was stated by the Chairman, Prestige Education Foundation and Chancellor, Prestige University, Davish Jain while addressing an International Conference on “Technology Innovation and Management for Organization and Social Transformation” organized to mark the silver jubilee of Prestige Institute of Management and Research Dewas.
Dipin Jain, Vice Chairman, PEF apprised the students about the revolution in IT and supply chain. Director, PEF, Himanshu Jain shared his views on the innovation and public utility in the medical field. PIMR Dewas Director, Prof. Dr. Ajit Upadhyay said that the use and misuse of technology can bring both positive and negative changes in the transformation of institutions, society and the nation.
Vice Chancellor, Vikram University, Ujjain, Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey said that organic products like mushrooms are prepared in various forms using technology and innovation, which contribute significantly to saving the environment. Diplomat from Panama, Dr. Samuel John de Souza, in his address said that technical and human resources are playing a major role in India-Panama trade relations, with innovative technologies creating new values in procurement and delivery.
Siddharth Rajhans, policy expert at Unite Nation, explained how cloud computing, IT and data utility are bringing changes in the society. Shreyans Bhandari, CEO, Green Soul, recipient of the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award, said that recycling and reuse brings the right products to the economically marginalized customers in the country.
Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, IIM Trichy, said that transformation brings change in the society when it connects the society and the company with their mission and values. Ramesh Jain shared his views on the soy revolution in the country.
In the programme, along with the release of the Management Journal of the PIMR, the abstract book summary of the conference was unveiled.
