Ratibad police arrested the murder accused who killed an 18-year-old girl and dumped body behind the Judicial Academy on Thursday.

On Thursday the police received information that a body of a girl was lying near Bhadbhada on the side of the National Judicial Academy's boundary wall. On receiving the information and based on the viral photo the girl was identified as Nikitasha alias Nishu alias Nikki Chouhan.

A case under section 302 of the IPC was registered and the body was sent for the post mortem.

On getting information about this incident, senior officers and the control room were informed. After being informed, senior officers and the FSL unit reached the spot.

It was found that Yash Tiwari was seen last with the victim and was detained and inquired. The accused revealed that about 4 years ago, the accused had befriended the deceased on the face book. Since then the accused and the deceased were in contact as friends of each other.

The accused suspected that the deceased used to talk to some other men on social media and there was a dispute between the accused and the deceased regarding this matter.

On the date of the incident, the accused had called the deceased to meet him. The accused took his motorcycle MP04ZH3242 from Nehru Nagar to Bhadbhada, Kerwa Road and back to Neelbad via Bhadbhada, on the side of National Judicial Academy's boundary, Bhadbhada Ratibad, Bhopal's deserted place and took him to the side of Judicial Academy's ward wall, where both of them had an argument over the same difference, due to this dispute, the accused took out a sharp knife from his bag hit her several times in the neck due to which the deceased died.
