The Palamu MP Vishnu Dayal Ram today suggested promotion for goatery among the rural woman folks through JSLPS. 

The MP said goatery makes fast population and has little risks of any epidemic afflicting it unlike poultry where there is a high risk of mortality. 

The MP Vishnu Dayal Ram did not mention bird flu but he said the poultry business is risk ridden as in the outbreak of any disease the poultry business gets devastated. 

The BJP MP Vishnu Dayal Ram a former DGP Jharkhand who is very cautious about his word and sentence always, today went on to say "I understand more and more thrust be given to goatery by the JSLPS as the price of meat across the country is soaring high and high."

Sources said for any BJP leader any mention of meat is a taboo. Here this BJP MP said the ground reality all in the larger interest to aggrandize the economy of the rural women. 

The Panki BJP MLA Dr Shashibhushan Mehta asked the JSLPS to pay attention to lac cultivation as he said lac has enormous potentiality to improve the livelihood to the women in rural areas. 

The two other BJP MLAs Alok Chourasia and Pushpa Devi lauded the Modi government for bringing in the bill for the women reservation.

The 3 BJP MLAs and MP were present during the JSLPS simple but impressive meeting of its Uttar Koyel Farmer Producer Company Ltd. 

The Palamu JSLPS today held its fourth annual general body meeting at the Pdt Deendayal Upadhayay Smriti Bhavan in Daltonganj. 

The district programme manager of the JSLPS Bimlesh Kumar Shukla said this meeting is of great importance as we present our balance sheet for the benefit of our strong fleet of women under the aegis of the  Uttar Koyel Farmer Producer Company Ltd.

"There is an upward mobility of this Uttar Koyel Farmer Producer Company Ltd with share capital of 98 lakh and this company has net profit of 5 crores." said Shukla. It is a World Bank financed company. 

This company is operational in 7 blocks of Palamu and Latehar districts. 

Chainpur, Paton and Chhaterpur blocks are of Palamu while Chandwa, Manika, Barwadeeh and Garu  where this company is operational are in Latehar district. 

Sources said the JSLPS here in Palamu led by its district programme manager Bimlesh Kumar Shukla is making a fast headway to the upliftment of rural woman by aggrandizing their rural economy. 

Shukla said this company is steering goatery, cattle wealth, minor forest produce,cattle immunization etc. 

The company has a board of directors of 5 rural women he said.
