The mountainous regions of the State are set to experience rain and snowfall on Tuesday. The State meteorological centre has forecast very light to light rain/thunderstorm is likely to occur at isolated places in Rudraprayag, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts. Further, very light to light rain/snowfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Chamoli district today. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the remaining districts of the State on Tuesday.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 30 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius respectively on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Monday were 30.2 degrees Celsius and 14.5 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 29.6 degrees Celsius and 14.4 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 19.4 degrees Celsius and 9.9 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 21.2 degrees Celsius and 9.7 degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
