The Jama Masjid in Paradip Badpadia observed the 1,445th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad with a special programme on Thursday.
Muslim community members gathered at the mosque for group prayers. Later, a peace procession was organised, starting from Madhuban and culminating at Kabarkhana.
The rally witnessed active participation from hundreds of Muslim brothers who sought to promote the values of peace, love, unity, and harmony within society. The procession moved through Badpadia, Bank Street, and Kabarkhan, where respects were paid to the ancestors. It then continued through Shiv Mandir Street and concluded at Badpadia Jama Masjid.
A special event is scheduled to be held at Badpadia Jama Masjid on October 7, which will be graced by prominent Maulanas and Shayers from different parts of the country. Notable individuals from Paradip have also committed to attend the event.
The programme was organised under the leadership of Jama Masjid president Sheikh Ramzan, secretary Sufi Ahmed, and other dedicated members of the Azad Bharat Memorial Trust.
