The Madhusudan Law University (MSLU) here on Friday
celebrated its Second Foundation Day with Governor and Chancellor of the University Prof GaneshiLal as chief guest.
Prof Lal paid rich tributes to legendary freedom fighter Madhusudan Das, the first graduate and the first advocate of Odisha, laid the foundation-stone for construction of a new auditorium of the
university and also inaugurated a renovated academic building.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Kamal Jeet Singh thanked the State Government for extending all kinds of support in terms of funds for infrastructure and manpower to run the university.
“I started from scratch to provide an academic ambiance and empower
the students with the best education. I am proud to say that we have
come a long way and achieved a lot in a short period of time,” he
said.
