Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) has succeeded in installing & energizing an additional 160 MVA capacity Power Transformer at an estimated cost of Rs 9 crores at its 220 KV Substation Chichli (Gadarwara) district Narshingpur.
Energy Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar has congratulated the employees of MP Transco for this success. Energy Minister Mr. Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that the transmission capacity of Narsinghpur district has been strengthened by the energization of this transformer in Chichli, along with the installation of this transformer, the 220 KV substation Pipariya of Narmadapuram district will also get relief.
Now the power transmission from 220 KV substation Pipariya to Narsinghpur district will be controlled through Bankhedi and Pondar 132 KV substations and if needed, power flow from Chichli substation to 220 KV Sub Station in Narmadapuram district will be possible.
Narsinghpur district will get reliable quality electricity
MP Transco's Superintending Engineer Mr. P. C. Nigam said that with the energization of this transformer, 220 KV substation Narsinghpur will get relief ,from where electricity is supplied to Narsinghpur, Barman, Karakbel, Karpgaon, Gadarwara substations in Narsinghpur district. Now 132 K V substations Gadarwara, Karpgaon, Palohabada, Pondhar, Tendukheda, Barman will get reliable quality power supply at proper voltage from Chichli substation.
The transmission capacity of Narsinghpur district has become 1682 MVA.
Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company transmits electricity through its total 12 substations at Narsinghpur district. Which includes 02 substations of 220 KV and 10 substations of 132 KV. Now the total installed transmission capacity of Narsinghpur district has increased to 1682 MVA. In which 220 KV side is 640 and 132 KVside is 1522 MVA.
