Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced on Monday that mobile veterinary vehicles will soon be launched to treat cattle like the Haat-Bazaar clinics.
The Chief Minister said this while addressing a delegation of the Sarv Yadav Samaj here. Addressing the delegation, he said: "The government has taken several steps to encourage cattle owners and the dairy industry. The production of milk has increased by 50,000 litres a day due to official encouragement." The mobile veterinary vehicles will reach gauthans, where villagers can get their cattle treated.
He called upon the Sarv Yadav Samaj to strengthen the dairy sector by taking maximum advantage of the schemes implemented by the government.
The president of the Sarv Yadav Samaj, Ramesh Yadu, thanked the Chief Minister and presented him a Lord Krishna idol and a bullock cart memento.
