nChhattisgarh Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo has called for preparedness against the spread of a respiratory decease which has caused havoc in China.
Singh Deo said in a statement that for the past few days the unknown disease has affected a large number of children.
While an Indian government advisory states that it is not a cause for concern, as a precaution "we have advised all units within the Health Department to implement necessary precautions", he said. The Department is gearing up to confront any challenges arising from this evolving scenario, he added.
