Crime Branch bhopal arrested a drug peddler with 7.92 grams of drugs worth Rs 80000, the smuggler used to buy mephedrone drug(MD) from other states at cheap rates and sell them at high prices in Bhopal.
Crime Branch got information from the informer that a boy was sitting with MD at Dussehra ground in Govindpura who was waiting for the customer.
Acting on the information, the Crime Branch team laid siege and arrested the MD smuggler. Police is interrogating the smuggler which can reveal about other smugglers as well.
According to the information, the crime branch received information on Sunday that a boy was sitting on the stairs at Govindpura Dussehra ground with a huge quantity of MD, waiting for a customer to sell it.
Immediate action was taken by the crime branch team reached the Dussehra ground. The team spotted a boy wgo was identified as Siddharth Rao of Balaji Nagar JK Road Piplani. The accused works in marketing.
The boy was frisked, two white foils were found in his pocket. In which a white crystalline granular substance was found in a foil. In the second foil, a substance like grayish colored moisture and granular powder was found which was MD.
Crime branch is interrogating the accused Siddharth who is in custody. Details of other smugglers would also be revealed. Also, there is a possibility of the accused being linked to Delhi, about which the Crime Branch is investigating.
