Chhattisgarh Police on Friday arrested a 21-year-old man for killing an elderly woman over a petty issue in Bilaspur district.
Bilaspur Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh identified him as Bhagbali Yadav of Manpur village. He killed Roopa Jagat (65) of the same village.
The police started a probe after the body was found on April 24.
Yadav confessed that he killed Roopa Jagat as he felt humiliated after the victim abused him publicly. A court sent him to prison.
