A court has jailed a 31-year-old man for life for killing his wife in Raipur district, a government lawyer said on Friday.
Additional Public Prosecutor Mohanlal Sahu told The Pioneer that Additional Sessions Judge Mamta Patel on Thursday found the man guilty.
Lokeshwar Verma of Karhidih village on May 23, 2021 beat his wife Pushpa at their house after suspecting her fidelity. She succumbed to injuries in hospital.
