The marital discord between popular singer Humane Sagar and his wife Shreya Mishra was resolved following counselling at the Mahila police station here on Monday.
Humane said the dispute was resolved in the presence of their family members. Shreya also said, “All misunderstandings between us have been resolved thanks to the police officials. We two will stay together now.”
Speaking to mediapersons, ACP Amitabh Mohapatra said, “Humane Sagar and Shreya will talk to each other during the next 15 to 20 days. Shreya will then take a decision regarding returning to her in-laws’ place with consent of her guardians. The marital dispute has been resolved. Both want to stay together.”
Shreya was staying at her father’s place following the dispute.
Earlier in the day, the couple appeared at the police station for the purpose of counselling. Some of their family members were also present at the police station.
Notably, Shreya had accused the singer of torturing her physically and mentally after she gave birth to their daughter.
