Matters related to postings and transfers of government employees in Himachal Pradesh will now be dealt with in the last four working days of the month only, an official spokesperson said on Thursday.
In a statement issued here, he said to ensure effective consideration by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, all matters pertaining to postings and transfers will now be reviewed and finalised during the last four working days of each month.
Moreover, the approved orders of postings and transfers will also be issued by the departments concerned in the last four working days of the month which implies that such matters will not be taken up during the remaining days of the month unless there are exceptional circumstances. These instructions would also be applicable to all boards and corporations of the state government and be strictly complied with, the spokesman said, adding that any violation of the instructions would result in disciplinary action.
