Chief Minister Hemant Soren today flayed Governor Ramesh Bais for returning the 1932 land record based domicile policy Bill during his Khatiani Johar Yatra in Seraikela. Addressing a huge gathering on the occasion he said that what the Governor wants will not happen, what the government wants will happen. People still think of us as Boka (Fools). Now this Boka will hit people.
The CM said, “When I was coming, I saw many people on the way. The history of a separate state is written on the forehead of these people. It will be clearly visible on their faces that how many people sacrificed, how much they struggled. You can't count on hand so many people have been martyred.”
The CM further said that he was with the Governor before coming here but he did not know that this decision has been taken regarding the Bill. “I don't read newspapers because I live with people that's news for me. I read the face of the poor. Our forefathers used to dream before the country did not dream of independence. There are many states where the governors are doing this where there is no BJP government. This is not Delhi, this is not Andaman, this is Jharkhand. What the government wants will happen here, what the governor wants will not happen,” he affirmed.
Soren's district tour program is going on to get face to face with the ground reality of the arrangements and development works of the government and to interact with the public. In this episode, today he arrived at Seraikela-Kharsawan. Here he participated in many programs. During this, where he apprised the people about the work, activities and priorities of the government, he also became aware of the problems of the people. Earlier, the CM was warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by the people on his arrival here.
The CM inspected the ongoing work of barrage construction on Kharkai river at Ganjia in Gamharia under Subarnarekha Multipurpose Project. He told the officials that the remaining works related to the construction should be completed as soon as possible.

He bowed down to the great freedom fighter and litterateur Gopabandhu Das ji by garlanding his statue.
